Tips for Focused Guided Meditations

These meditations can be used anywhere, anytime. Here are a few tips to be mindful of before you start:

Allow yourself the space and time to prepare for the meditation.

Always try to be somewhere quiet. For this reason, it’s probably better to practice meditation alone at first.

Find a comfortable place to lie down or sit, whichever you prefer. If you choose to sit, ensure that you find a chair that supports your body properly.

It is best to close the eyes; this way you are placed in a much better position to enjoy the experience. You may choose to keep the eyes open and lowered.

Keep an open mind as you undertake these guided meditations. When the mind is open, new ideas are readily available to you.

Try the meditations a few times to see how you find the experience. Always remember that you can stop the meditation at any time. If the meditation seems too challenging, try a shorter recording and work your way up.
