Research interests

Background

Zeineb Alsabeehg is a PhD candidate at the School of Social and Political Science (SPS) at the University of Edinburgh. While pursuing her PhD, Alsabeehg has worked as a research intern at the Scottish Government and assisted on various research projects.

Alsabeehg is an Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). She is currently tutoring at SPS. She has also guest lectured in the Edinburgh Law School and at the Central European University (CEU). 

Moreover, Alsabeehg is a country expert for the Global Citizenship Observatory (GLOBALCIT) and has authored several country reports on citizenship laws for GLOBALCIT. She has also experience as a consultant for the International Labour Organization (ILO) and UNHCR.  

Alsabeehg has been abroad on a visiting research fellowship at the Peter McMullin Centre on Statelessness at the Melbourne Law School (Australia) as well as one semester at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence (Italy) during the course of her PhD.
