In this lecture, Berislav Marušić (Philosophy, University of Edinburgh) covers his recent book On the Temporality of Emotions.

He will draw on the phenomenology of lived experience to identify puzzling features of emotional life and offer a distinctive approach to the study of emotion through a focus on time. 

The aim of the lecture is to contribute to an understanding of the rationality of emotion, especially of grief and love.
